President Barack Obama Celebrating 49th Birthday!

barack-obama Barack Obama Birthday: President of the United States turns 49 years old today. But he is celebrating this special day alone. First lady Michelle Obama has taken their youngest daughter, Sasha, to Spain. Their other daughter, Malia, is away at summer camp.

Obama is heading home to Chicago for a birthday celebration dinner Wednesday evening with friends. He’ll spend the night in his own house in the city’s Hyde Park neighborhood.

On Thursday, Obama will tour an auto plant in Chicago and attend Democratic fundraisers before returning to Washington.

Regardless of your political affiliation, we can all wish the man a very happy birthday!

Wikileaks Released Secret Afghanistan War Documents

Wikileaks released more than 90,000 secret US military records related to Afghan War. This leak is considered one of the biggest leaks in US military history.Leaked documents are published on the website Wikileaks revealing hidden details of the Afghanistan war.

Wikileaks is releasing the set of documents under the title Afghan War Diary. It says is has delayed the release of about 15,000 reports from the archive as part of a “harm minimization process demanded by our source”.

The White House has condemned the leaks as “irresponsible”.

“The data is provided in CSV and SQL formats, sorted by months, and also was rendered into KML mapping data.” WikiLeaks provided the documents in advance to the New York Times, Der Spiegel, and the UK’s Guardian, the latter also has up a video tutorial on how to read the logs. Read More…

San Francisco Marathon 2010

San Francisco Marathon 2010: The 32nd annual San Francisco Marathon shall have a total of more than twenty two thousand participants in the different events. The start of the race is on the Embarcadero, south of Mission St, and the race will be started in waves, the first runners leaving at 5:30 am.

The San Francisco Marathon took place for the first time in the year 1977. According to News Provider the Marathon tour through Embarcadero, Fisherman’s Wharf, and then onto the Golden Gate Bridge which the first runners will reach around 6:00 am. It will proceed to Marin County then turn and re-cross the Golden Gate Bridge.

The route will then take the runners past the Pacific Ocean coastline at Baker Beach, through Golden Gate Park, past AT&T Park and eventually finish at Cupid’s Arrow. There will of course be many traffic disruptions but organizers say that all the roads should be clear by 12:30 pm according to SF Gate. Obama Deception Censored: Alex Jones documentary on youtube “The Obama Deception: The Mask Comes Off” has been censored by an unknown source. Jonesis the maker of documentaries like “Fall of the Republic: Vol. 1, The Presidency of Barack H. Obama” has come out with yet another You Tube video claiming in it that his work is being censored.

The upload was censored since the film had become the top link when simply searching “Obama”. “The Obama Deception: The Mask Comes Off” was exposing the Left-Right paradigm and identifies President Obama as a “puppet”.

Alex Jones, who is a well known conservative radio host, maintained that the ideas of the documentary were having a massive impact and millions of people were turning on to the YouTube video. “This was a criminal act, and You Tube needs to investigate, track the IP and find out who did it,” Alex Jones said. “The Obama Deception was getting more and more popular, and the establishment doesn’t like the fact that it exposes the Left-Right paradigm and identifies Obama as a puppet,” he added.

DC Earthquake: An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude hits Washington DC in the morning. People of Washington DC were awakened the magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck at about 5:04 PM. There are no reports of injuries or damage up to now.

The earthquake was felt in the suburbs of Arlington, Va., and Bethesda, Maryland. It was also felt in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The quake was centered in Gaithersburg, Maryland, about 20 miles NW of the nations capital. Read More…

Uganda News: 60 People killed in Two Blasts in Kampala

Uganda News reports the twin bomb blasts targeting world cup crowds watching Soccer world cup final match between Netherlands and Spain. 60 people were killed and many more wounded in the explosions in the capital, Kampala, late Sunday.

Police said the first blast took place at an Ethiopian restaurant, while the second explosion occurred at the Kyaddondo Rugby grounds.

Both explosions took place as the residents watched the 2010 World Cup final on giant screens.

Police confirmed that 13 people, more than half of them foreigners were killed at Ethiopian Village Restaurant in Kabalagala, a Kampala suburb, while Daily Monitor reporters counted about 40 bodies at Kyaddondo rugby grounds where a huge crowd was watching the Spain Vs Netherlands Word Cup final.

Another blast was reported to have gone off in Ntinda, another Kampala surburb, as more than 100 were reported admitted in hospitals and clinics in the capital including the national referral hospital – Mulago.

Local hospitals have been overwhelmed by the number of casualties from the bombings. Read More…
